Including video url's in my posts to a social media site

Hello youtube advisors, Is it ok (or is special permission needed) for me to copy url's of youtube videos and audios and paste them into posts I make into a social media site in which I am a member? The purpose of including such url's in any post of mine is to enable anyone on our social media site (who clicks on my post) to click on the url if they want to view/hear the content of the associated youtube video/audio content.

Related question: Should I shorten the url's before posting them? What are the pros and cons of that? If yes, please give me a link to where I can shorten them.

Thanks in advance.
