Importing & Exporting Outlook 2003 mail addresses

  sa2gon 11:03 20 Mar 05

Can anyone tell me how to export my email account info from one PC and then import it into another, both running Windows XP Home with both having Outlook 2003 (as part of Office 2003) installed.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Office has its own little program to export all account details.

Close all Office programs.

Go to start/all programs/office/office tools/save my settings, go through the wizard it will save all office/outlook settings

Move file to new computer. open program again and select restore previously saved settings to this machine.

You will need to re-enter any password that are required.

Found this after down loading different trial programs.

Nice one, I have just upgraded to Office XP Pro and I didn't know about that.

Thank you Brynit; I did not know about this either. Getting a new PC next month and this will be very useful.
