Acouple of days ago i received an e-mail from AOL when I opened it it contained the Netsky Virus McAfee couldn't delete it so I used the restoe point of the previous day to get rid of it. so the answer is create restore points frequently.

but make sure that your machine didn't create a restore point on the day in question - complete with the virus. If it did you may inadvertantly restore to that point at some later date.

good advice from FE, if you find that your system restore information is also infected, click here for a description by me how to remove ONLY the infected entry.
