Import email addresses into address book

How do I import a text file containing email addresses into my address book. They are all seperated by commas and they are just email addresses, nothing else.

If I use the import function
- other address book - text file (comma seperated values)
will this import them as seperate email addresses into the address book, or will it mistake the comma seperation as different fields for the same address book entry? If so, do i just replace the commas with new line breaks to get around this? (ie does a new line represent a new entry, and a comma a new field (name, address etc) or will it recognise commas as new entries ? )

Also is there an easy way to import them as a new group in the address book ? Thanks.
