Imminent hard disk failure - replacement

I wish to replace my potentially faulty 30Gb hard disk, running windows 98SE, without having to re-install the operating system or any of the software currently installed. The hard disk is working OK at present, but very slow. Sacndisk has found 9 cluster errors so far.
What is the simplest way to get the old hard disk out and a new one in, complete with the operating system and software?
Where can I find advice?

You cant, any new hard drive you get will have to be formated then your windows 98 will have to be installed from your cd, best thing to do is backup any files you have onto cd if you have a cd writer.
