Following the re installation of WinXP (UNFORTUNATELY) my image sizes are too big. In other words a program image maximized is too big for my 17 in screen. I've wasted time in "settings/control panel/display" without success. Can anyone sort me out please.

You need to install the drivers for your graphics card.

Thank you Ashdav but there I'm struggling. My video card appears to be an ATI Radeon Xpress 200M and when I search the ATI site there isn't one listed. Any ideas?

You can either use the Full Software Suite option 1 or (recommended)Display Driver in option 2.

A quicker way to Display Properties is via the Desktop>right click on an empty area>Properties.
