Image not available (red cross)

I have searched and cannot find anything that may be apt for this problem. When I visit web sites, instead of getting images, I get a white box with a red cross inside it. I would be grateful if anyone could help me solve this problem. Many thanks.

Try IE's Tools>Advanced tab and scroll down to Show All Pictures.

You might have to reboot - can't remember...:-)

If you're using Internet Explorer it's possible to turn the images off. Go to Tools/Internet Options and click on the Advanced tab. Then scroll down until you get to Multimedia, and see if the Show pictures box is checked.

Make sure that all (bar the first and the seventh check boxes) are enabled in Multimedia.

Yes, thats how they are checked, all apart from 1st and 7th.
