Image errors

I frequently take a selection of images and through a small conversion program make them ready to show on TV via a viewer device
.The program I use for this is XAT.
It works very well to and has many useful features.
However to day it is acting up.
When a memory chip is loaded the images all apear to be correct. but when they are played many of them show as 'card error' on the Tv screen.
When the chip is load back into the computer to clear and perhaps reload. the images come up as many of a single image which is not one of the batch loaded, and is not as far as can be seen even on the computer at this time.
It is one of my images but is stored off machine and has not been accessed in recent times.
I have come across this previously not using this program, when say PSP8 is in use and 'browse' is selected the 'images' are a single image repeated which once more not on the current loading.
What going on chaps

Well there it is
If you wait long enough you can solve any problem
By oneself.
If any of you are interested I might even let on.
