Windows 7

I'm trying to install old XP software from their original CD's. The programmes are...

DANCE

DANCE 2

DANCE 2 Techno Edition

RAVE

All are by eJay Fast Track

However, everytime I put a disk in I get the following message...

SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\VirtualdeviceDrivers. Virtual Device Driver format in the registry is invalid. Choose 'Close' to teminate the application.

Anyone got any ideas what (if anything) I can do to instal these programmes?

Looks like it's to do with 16bit drivers. MS Article Here

Hi onthelimit1

Yes I saw that solution, but it's for Windows XP and I wondered if Win7 might need something different. but after a lot of searching it would seem that everyone with this problem is using this solution, regardless of OS.

So, I've joined them, but I'm yet to discover if it works. i'll report back after I give it a go. Cheers.
