I have been getting the above error from tIme to time in Explorer. Any ideas on how to sort it. cheers

looks like a Graphics card driver that may be corrupt?.

In Device manager is there any Yellow Excalmation marks ?.

Did you change or install anything before the above started ?.

I am running win 98. Have installed a webcam and did have some problems which caused me to reinstall windows. There are no yellow exclamation marks and my abit silaro mx400 seems ok. also getting this error.

This issue can occur if your Webcheck.dll file is not the version included with Internet Explorer 5. For example, this issue can occur if your Webcheck.dll file is from Internet Explorer 4.01 SP2 (version 4.72.3110.0).

To resolve this issue, reinstall Internet Explorer 5.

Have you tried repairing ie6?

Add/Remove programmes, select ie6, ok and repair option comes up.
