Iframes is this the best solution??

I am creating a website that has a flash mp3 player on it. I don't wish the songs to be interrupted whilst the visitor navigates through the site. To achieve this I have used iframes (I know frames are a no no but I couldn't think of another way to do it). Using iframes has given me the effect I wanted but I don't like the fact
that the visitor can reload the page that was positioned in the frame from the history menu independently.
I am trying to achieve what the authors of this website have done. click here. I have looked at the source code but it's a little complicated for me.
My queries are:
Are iframes the right way to go?
If so, how do I get the pages in the history menu to reload with the 'parent' frame?
Thank you for your help.

To load pages in the 'parent' frame, add

target="_top"

to your link tag.
