Yeah, well, if you keep your PC patched and protected, this kind of malware isn't an issue. Simple, really: apply a combination of common sense, free software and a reluctance to visit the kind of dodgy warez/porn sites that reward your visit with an unexpected payload.

there has always been problems, as kate says a little common sense, if you go though to the forums, the keylogging software comes from dodgy links, and god there's loads of them around, free gold etc, i cant believe people go to so much trouble to steal game gold and sell it for next to nothing!
