click here for info. You don't need to cancel, as if you stop using the Tiscali number, no charges are incurred.

Yes, its at local rate. If you register that number with BT friends & families as your Best Friend, you get a 20% discount.

As said, no cancellation charges, but to keep the account active log on to their server every 4 weeks. You might like to do this if you use their e-mail address.

I use Tiscali PAYG on my lappy and you can use it from any UK phone...the bill-payer only gets charged local rate. AFAIK there is no need to connect every 4 weeks to keep the account active, I used mine last weekend after 6 months of no use.

We use Telecomplus dial up at 1p per minute 24 hours a day - 7 days a week. They also do 256kb broadband for £15.95 per month, 512kb for £19.95 which comes with a free upgrade to 1mb until July 31 2005. There is also a 2mb service starting in early 2005. The modem is FREE and this is for unlimited usage. You can get details by phoning 0800 298 7006

I have a feeling that this telecomplus bunch do not allow free roaming and you are tied to your own phone....any ideas?

If you are on a fixed line, do it cheaper and go
Free surf of Opensurf, whatever. You pay a monthly fee get a special 0800 number and can go on 24/7.
I paid a year up front and it works out to less than a tenner a month- good enough for my needs
I dont do heavy doewnloads much so BB would for me be a little OTT.
