IE9 nagging system pop-up

  Covergirl 27 May 11

I have just got IE9 and it has an annoying feature I would like to disable if possible.

At regular (and frequent) intervals I get a yellow-ish pop-up box at the bottom of the screen asking if I want to disable add-ons to make my browser faster.

I don't have any add-ons installed because I'm carefull what I install simply because I don't want a screen full of search toolbars and 2 inches of internet content.

(A similar box now pops-up when I download a file - I'm OK with this as it's just an alternative to the standard grey Open Save Cancel box in previous versions.)

Back to the annoying pop-up; does anybody know how to disable this please? It's starting to become annoying.

Many thanks

Your not alone see

It seems you can't stop it but only slow it down see

The more I hear about IE9 the less I like the sound of it. I shall continue to resist MS's efforts to install it !
