About 3 times a day, when I try to open a site, I get error message saying IE is not responding, the rest of the time it is fine.I am using Vista Premium on an almost new and clean laptop. I have to close down and then restart IE and all is well for a time, then the same glitch occurs again.

How can I fix this annoying problem?

I didn't solve this problem (with XP) so changed to Firefox - problem solved!

Or maybe try this.

Flushing the dns cache

Flushing the dns cache

In Vista right click the command prompt option and select run as admin, then type,
ipconfig /flushdns and press enter
net stop dnscache and press enter
net start dns cache and press enter

With XP you had to reboot the computer for it to take affect not sure about Vista.
