Normally I use Firefox for my browsing but having found a site that was incompatible I installed IE& and inadvertently the BigSnap search engine. The latter is proving a real pain in the proverbial, so I want it completely off my system and to be assured it's really off. Please help.

Uninstall IE7 using this program system will return to IE6

In Firefox install IE Tab extension

You can than switch to IE as a tab in Firefox by just right click on the tab and click

switch rendering engine or click on the Firefox icon on the status bar

This will open a new tab in Firefox using the IE browser

The Tab extension unfortunately only works with 3.??? and above. Are those Betas,as I have only recently put in 2.03? To get rid of BigSnap is it really required to go back to IE6?

Firefox 2.0.0.13 now available you are way behind in updates

I only use IE6 if a site require it and always within Firefox

Don’t like IE7 so have barred it from installing on all of my computers

Go here and download an older version that will work on Firefox 2

Version 1.3.3.20070528 will work
