I run Mozilla and my nearest and dearest prefers ie6. However, for some unknown reason ie has stopped opening links in new window when right clicked.

BT man advised reinstalling ie6 which have done, but no difference. Ideas, please? ta.

No problems with Mozilla

Running xp home with sp1 (Mesh Athlon64 so sp2 a no go!)

Do links work if you just left click them? If not

http:// support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679

Copy this, paste into address bar, remove the space after // and click Go.

Follow the instructions.

Morning VoG™, tks for that.
Links work by just clicking and all .dll's appear ok.
When right clicking, new window appears to flash on screen and then disappears.
Have tried reinstalling ie6 but still no joy.

Maybe something to do with the BTYahoo browser?
When that is uninstalled e-mail links do not work.

Do you have a popup stopper or Windows XP SP2 installed?

Morning DS,

Panicware pu stopper.
No XP SP2 yet (Mesh ADM64)

Morning.

Disable the popup stopper and see what happens.

That's done the trick! tks

How do I now block pop-ups?

Try the google bar - that has a less definitive blocker.

Or convince your wife of how good FireFox is - esp the latest version.

Tks again,

suspect the former will be easier than the latter, but will give it my best shot.
