IE6 launch from OE6

A new problem has emerged...

If I click an html link in an e-mail, IE6 doesnt launch properly, the PC 'hangs' with the 'hand' mouse icon.

However, if I Ctrl-Alt-Delete, and 'End Task' Iexplore, then I can click the link in the e-mail again, and it works OK. Very annoying.

Any got any ideas ?

Thanks VoG, I'll give it a try and post back.

Although as I said it works second time around....hhmmmm !

Seems to have done the biz, though. Cheers.

This problem keeps recurring.

I did sort of fix it after following advice concerning the number of entries in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StreamMRU and .....\Streams.

Seems as though something has upped the number of entries from 28 max to ?unlimited?.

Does anyone know any more detail on this, possibly how to fix it ?
