IE6 - Full size window?

Hi Gang, back for a little more advice. I am running XP Pro SP2 and find that although IE is running in full screen mode, if I click on a link in IE6, the new page opens in a window. Is there a way to preset IE6 to open all new windows in full screen?

if you use your full screen window, (which I assume you mean maximsed?), and turn it into a "normal" window by clicking the middle button in the top right...

Now drag it to the size you want the subsequent windows to be...

Now you can maximise this first window...

subsequent windows should be at the size you dragged the first one to be.

I hope that makes sense!

Simsy

Any subsequent IE window should remember its size and position once it has been set once. Similarly, if you close the first window first and then close the second window, the second window will be the one that is used the next time you run IE. Which can be a little annoying! As Simsy says, it doesn't work so well if it is maximised; if you like it maximised, mimic it by dragging the edges out.

Thanks Simsy and ade.h.
That has fixed it.
