Hello,Over the last week when I have tried to use IE7 or other windows software,a box appears stating that the application failed to start.Microsoft Office,System Restore and IE7.Event viewer is showing a lot of entries stating the source was application error. The following is listed...Faulting application iexplore.exe version 7.0.5730.13 faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0 fault address 0xf9e85179I am running WIN XP SP2.I have just uninstalled IE7.Any help please.Cheers
Try a System Restore in Safe Mode - repeatedly press F8 on start-up.
Technotiger, followed you advice, and restored the PC back to a previous state.Just to make sure that it was IE7 that was causing the problem,I reinstalled IE7,and the pop up appeared again stating the apps failed to start. Is this a known issue with IE7?.It worked fine for a few weeks.Cheers
Hmm, afraid I don't know - I don't use IE7.I use Firefox and IE6.
Technotiger,I will stick with IE6 and Firefox,cheers
My Pleasure .... Cheers.
