IE Fault?

  Murray1 13:59 23 Oct 03

I boot up, connect to ISP, try to connect to web page, get the unavailable message. Try the email, get unable to connect to server. Restart the computer and all is well. This happens quite often. Win98SE. IE6. (which I've "repaired")
Suggestions please. Thanks

Have you checked the configuration, especially the need to Dial My Default Connection?

Its a bit to wade through but I can't reccommend the site enough.

I think the solution was to uninstall and reinstall dial up networking.

All the best, Epirb.

Forgive my ignorance, when it states remove and re- install Dial up networking, I assume that refers to, in my case Virgin Dial Up.

The page does walk you through the process, any success yet?

If not I can walk you through it.

Cheers, Epirb.

Thanks all, Carried out Epirb's question 18, and at the moment it seems to have been successful. Regards.
