Occasionally Internet Explorer crashes and I get the following message: 'The unknown exception software exception (0xc00000fd) occurred in the application at location 0x034a37e8'. Anyone know what's happening?? Thanks!

Thanks for the advice. As it's an unpredictable problem that only occurs occasionally I don't know if it's now fixed, but fingers crossed. I was trawling through the web trying to see if anyone else had had a similar problem and came across someone who had the same error format but about explorer.exe, not IE. Being old and somewhat senile it is entirely possible that I had the same message (i.e. about explorer) and just assumed that it was IE, because it's occurring when I am trying to close or minimise IE windows. If so, many apologies!
