Hi Guys,

All of a sudden IE6 is defaulting to a "Searchex" home page. despite reseting it to freeserve in tools options etc it always returns on reopening IE. I found a ref to it in the registry which I deleted to no avail. according to a search I made for the program it apparently originates from MSN can anyone help to get rid of this intrusion.

Hi Butch,

You can get rid of searchex by going to the bottom of the searchex page that loaded and looking for searchex FAQ. Open the faq and there is an option "How to remove Searchex". I hit the "here" link and before you know it searchex is gone.
