IE Browser cache

I understand that each time I look at a web page it gets stored in a cache and every so often I am supposed to empty this cache in internet options/delete temporary internet files.

Is there a way to stop them being saved in the first place rather than have to keep deleting them manually? Or maybe a way to delete them automatically when I close internet explorer?

Tools then internet options then Advanced scroll down and tick Empty temp internet files folder when browser is closed

Thanks Andy - knew it had to be simple!
