Ever since reinstalling XP (pro) the "open link in new window" in IE produces a window half size.
Same with open by hyperlink........
I want all new IE windows to open full size.......
Anybody know the setting or tweak??

Thanks

1) Drag the edges of IE to fill the screen, hit the maximise button. Then go File, Close.

2) Drag the edges of IE to fill the screen, then go File, Close

3) Click on IE's shortcut, Under RUN: Choose Maximised and click OK.

4) Click Start, Run, Type:

regedit

Click OK.

Naviagte to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

Find: Window_Placement

Now delete it and ensure IE is closed when you do this.

Backup up the reg fisrt; File, Export...

Logoff or reboot.

5) Download "IE New Window Maximizer" click here

Try one at a time.

I got fed up with the same problem when the usual methods to cure it failed and installed GRFT's suggested solution a few weeks back.

It works a treat but I installed it from a recent PC Advisor cover disk (April 2004).
