When I boot into Windows XP SP1, I see a notice that says: IE6 has been removed from this computer. Do you wish to clean up your personalized setting for this program?

I click No and my desktop shortcuts load, everything proceeds normally.

I would like to fix this message so that it never appears again. If someone knows how, please help me.

Thanks in advance.

Firstly run your anti virus to see if you have any viruses or tojans.

Next download and install SP2.

Thank you Crossbow7, that site is a goldmine of fixes. I found the fix I was looking for, I was doing what it suggested manually, now I won't have to do it ever again.

Thank you, thank you.
