Dear All
A client of mine owns an Old Peoples Home and have received a Second Hand PC Tower and Printer.

It appears that they have a Computer with no ID or Network Login User Name and Password. And no Username and Password for their Epsom Printer and also forgotten their BT Broadband Username and Password. Can these be reset all usernames and passwords for the 3 situations, how can this be done?

They cannot log on to BT Broadband Hub.

The blue up to date BT Hub broadband light is on, but it says there is not a connection input to the hub.

On the display it displays Network Login with no user Name or password for this.

It then says click on now.

It then says Click Setup button now below.

Then says enter Correct User Name and Password.

Then it says find 1st 2 emails BT sent to your primary email address.

They should be in the format :-

[email protected]

And says (Setup Now).

Hpoe you can help?

Thanks

From

Alistair Brown.

You could try resetting the BT Hub to factory settings as follows;

The easiest way to reset to factory setting is to press the little 'hidden' button on the side of the hub (or if it BT HomeHub v2 black one it is located above the wireless button and marked "Reset to Defaults)

The hub will then reboot.

This will reset it completely (ALL settings that you changed will return to factory).

When you log into the Hub manager you will need to type in the password located on the back of the Hub and then you type your chosen password in.

For the passwords etc on the computer you need something like SIW ( click here ). You may also need a disc to enable you to boot into the computer so that you can use SIW.
