I WOULD LIKE TO LOCATE MY IP ADDRESS.I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT IF YOU CLICK ON START,THEN RUN,TYPE SOMETHING IN,THEN TYPE IN IPCONFIG,YOUR IP ADDRESS WILL BE DISPLAYED,BUT WHAT DO YOU TYPE IN THE BOX,BEFORE YOU CLICK ON OK.THANK-YOU IN ADVANCE

If you are running Windows XP you need to go to Start, Accessories, Command Prompt.

At the Command Prompt type in

IPCONFIG

and press enter

Or go to Belarc and download a diagnostic. It will tell you everything about your system and in communications it will tell you your ip address.

open control panel, click network connections, right click your internet connection and choose Status, it will show you your ip address

Go to MS-DOS and type in:

ipconfig /all

Or go to Start --> Run and type in ipconfig

Or, do a Google for IP Finder. A little app that will monitor your IP address, and show you what it is at any time.
