I have read about freeware that can help in identfying the windows processes running at any one time but can't remember what it was.

Can anyone help please?

Thx

ctrl alt delete. Go to the processes tab and then google the full name plus the extension. Job done and no need to clutter your PC with dubious software.

Hello boffins.

Air_Man ,are you thinking of Process Explorer by Sysinternals.

Creature of the Nite,I get your point but with this program you will find that MS are happy to pose with it and it can be downloaded from here click here

That's it for this year.

But then again what would MS know.

I find that this program can screw up due to .NET Framework being installed!
