Hi
Can anyone help identify the meaning of this error message please
I use windows XP and windows synctoy to back up files.
I keep getting the following error message
INFO2
D\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-23237546-73-486824967-3472318312-1004

Does this mean anything and is there a director with this name as I cannot find it.
Thanks
Mike

If (as I assume) you have 2 HDD's (or you have left a DVD in an optical drive)

Then download:

Top Right

And:

Install, Update and run bot of these and post back.

Yes I have two external drives and back up to one from both internal and second external drive.
I have looked at both of thse suggested pieces of software and I guess you are saying I have some virus or is the software to fix a bug when using 2 HDD's?
Regards
mike

Start/Run and type in CMD:

Type D: press Enter promt should change to D:\
Type CD \RECYCLED, and then press ENTER.
Type ATTRIB -r -s -h info2, and then press ENTER.
Type DEL INFO2, and then press ENTER.

NOTE: This deletes the damaged INFO2 file. Windows will recreate this file as needed, automatically.
