IDEE drives shown as SCSI

Has anyone else had this problem? My sons computer says that all of the drives on his machine are SCSI while the BIOS says they are IDEE, which they are. The hard drives work without any problem but NERO stops burning after a few seconds and reports that it has had a problem with the SCSI drives.

Does anyone know how to change the drive description back to ATAPI?

Are they perhaps on a RAID controller?
