Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me if I can use an IDE harddisk in a 945. I tried but it didn't work. I hope it will work well with my DVD ROM on.

I'm sorry it really angered you that Bad Dear Mr Brown. Anyway, giving sense to my question, I meant to ask if we could use an IDE hard disk with a 945 chipset motherboard. I am not a techie but this is just why I put up the question.
The problem started when I wanted to use an old IDE harddisk with an Intel D945. I connected the harddisk but the computer would not start up. The harddisk had no OS and so I booted with a HIREN Boot disk but the computer would not recognise the hard disk. The CMOS setting showed the presence of the hard disk though.
