my pictures now have a ie logo in the bottom left corner of the thumbnail preview. i have tried associating the filetype, and this is fine i just don't understand why my thumbnail previews are showing the blue ie logo. the picture is still viewable in thumbnail preview but just with a blue ie in the bottom left hand corner. how can i get rid of the ie logo?

thanks for any help

Try deleting the Thumbs.db that is in My Pictures
You will be asked if you are sure as it is a system file, Click on Yes (move it to recycle bin)
Close the window
Then reopen My Pictures (it will create a new Thumbs.db)
