I have an old IBM PC with a Hard disc that has an unusual 15 pin connector and I need to connect it to a standard ribbon socket to read it. Can anyone tell me what the name of the converter that I need is, so that I can get one?

Can you tell us the model number of the hard drive - it should be on a label somewhere.

it is a SATA HD
model HDT722516DLA380

I think I probably need a SATA to IDE converter?
