i8042prt error

  ACOLYTE 00:12 28 Jan 06

I have had this error two times, both times it seems to have fixed itself, but the mouse freezes for a time and then starts again,i have increased the buffer size like it said but it has made no difference.

The ring buffer that stores incoming mouse data has overflowed (buffer size is configurable via the PS/2 mouse properties in device manager).
