I want to go back to IE8

  mo66ie 05 Jul 11

Hi I am running Vista Home Premium SP2 with IE9. The problem I have is that I want to go back to IE8 but I can't find IE in the list of programs in the programs and features list to uninstall it. What am I doing wrong? Regards Allan

Try Add remove.Turn Windows features on or off.Scroll down to IE9 and untick it.Then press Ok and wait for it to uninstall.

To be on the safe side make sure you have another browser that you can use in case it removes IE8 as well.

If IE9 updtate happened recently it may be easiest to use the windows system restore back to just before you installed it
