Hi, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

First of all i performed a system restore after things went a bit haywire with my computer(i- tunes worked perfectly before this, it didn't quite work out how i thought it would............anyway, after numerous downloads from microsoft my computer is working perfectly now.
The only thing is i cannot access i-tunes.........every time i try to open it up i'm met with a box appearing saying ' i-tunes has encountered a problem and has to close we are sorry for the inconvenience' ,etc, etc.
I send an error report but get no reply.

I have uninstalled & re-installed a couple of times but am met with the same box when i try to open it.

I have also(after system recovery) uninstalled Norton & installed AVG(free). I cannot fault it but i was wondering if this had anything to do with my problem?

I'm running windows sp2 on a packard bell(not sure what model........basic).
