Hello Friends,
There's this pc without usb ports. It must be running Win98 and there's the need to have usb ports on it. Can it be done? Is it possible to have a PCI usb card(of some sort) placed in one of its PCI slots in order to have some usb ports to use on this pc? Thanx in advance.

Looking at the post by Fruit Bat /\0/\,

If the machine you are talking about is of an age where usb was not possible, it may not have a bios capable of recognising USB.

Is it Windows 98 or Windows 98SE.

I am running Windows 98SE and have just added PCI USB x 2 card. Be aware though, that not all USB units will work in it. I found for example, that my BB modem didn't like it (which is what I got it for) so I had to take my Printer out of the main USB port and put the modem in there and the printer in the PCI USB port. Both working OK.
