I have tried asking Firefox about this

I have tried asking Firefox about this, buit got no reply from the forum.

I just wonder if anyone else is having this sort of problem with this browser?

There several things really, but the one that is bugging me the most at the moment, is this.

I make an simple html page, with a single column of text running down the middle.

When I view it in IE it's fine, no problem.

But when i view it in Firefox, it appears as if I have somehow selected the wrong page size for the screen I am using....I have to scroll sideways to view the whole page, and the column of text, which appears central in IE...appears off to one side, owing to the size of the page.

I have other problems with Firefox, but I feel this is not the place to air them, as I say, I have posted twice for a reply on the Firefox forum, but got no reply...and as you folks have helped me out so much in the past, I thought I would ask here.

Thank you and a Happy New Year.

Do you have a web page you can upload an example to so others can try it for you? If you don't I can put it on one of my web sites for you so others can see.

From Firefox's View>Page Style is Basic Page Style Enabled?

*I make an simple html page*

How you make it might be relevant - can you describe please.

Which version of FF are you using?

If I make an HTML page using Word2000 the finished page displays oddly in IE and FF compared to the Word page onscreen - for instance.
