I have problems with links...

I just created a web page uing coffeecup free html editor software. I chose a photo and used it at a link to "www.facebook.com". I uploaded the web page to my web host account "000webhost.com", but instead of facebook.com, after clicking on the image, I have been redirected to the home page of my webhost... Please I need help here, I am new in web designing...
