I have lost the Drivers for my Soundcard. Help

  Dannymiller15 21:27 02 Jun 03

I recently had my hard drive 'wiped' in order to fix a problem with Internet Explorer. When everything was loaded back on the drivers from the sound card could not be found and now it won't work. Does anyone know where i can find the drivers for my soundcard. I only know that it is a PCI Multimedia Device.

Try getting Aida32 from click here to identify your soundcard and then go to them manufacturer site for drivers.

You will have to find out the name and manufacturer of the card, to find a driver download for it.

Is it a separate soundcard? If so, the manufacturer and model should be stamped on it.

If it is an 'onboard' sound card, i.e. built into the motherboard, let us know what Aida tells you about your motherboard.

When you find out what card it is click here most sound card drivers can be accessed from here.
