i bought an i-friend laptop from safeway arounnd june time, and i have had several problems. the main one of these being that the power connector has snapped off the motherboard, rendering the computer useless. i-friend have been funny with me, and safeway aren't co-operating much either. Has anybody else had problems with i-friend? if so please post a reply. i-friend want me to cough up £200 for a new motherboard, containing a 50p power jack. this power jack is quite flimsy, raising the question of is it suitable for everyday use- i.e. plugging and unplugging everyday. i use this for college work and so i need to get this resolved quickly. if anybody has any ideas, simelar problems etc, you know what to do...
