I don't really want a thank you but....

it would be nice. I have noticed quite a lot of new postings with many responses that suddenly get ticked as resolved, but no indication of which suggestion solved the problem. Surely, it is simple to say which response solved the problem, that way, if it comes up again we have the answer. By the same token there seems to be lots of postings, with lots of responses, but no feedback from the originator. Do they post and then go away for a month or so?

Hi, See you in September. Cheers, Bill

  pj123 16:45 19 Aug 03

billyliv. I don't believe you would do that to me.

Quite agree. As I pack up my bags (to go home but I will return tomorrow) there are too resolved threads and some of the one`s I`ve got in my postings have not ever revisited to say resolved or thank you. Just for the love of it eh!

So, what else is new?

What's brought this bout of wild optimism? :o)

You think you're hard done by?I sent CDRs to 4 forum members last week and only 1 acknowledged receipt and thanked me for it.

  jakedawe 18:09 19 Aug 03

That's downright ignorance!

  watchful 18:10 19 Aug 03

That's terrible.

I hope you won't be sending any more to them.

Just shows the lack of manners in a lot of today's society. We are all the poorer for it.
