My good lady was having a graphics problem with her PC, so I had a Radeon 9800Pro kicking about ,so installed it with the latest drivers, now the pc runs then freezes, I assume its a driver problem, haven't a clue how to rectify it.
Perhaps installation of an earlier driver?
Suggestions appreciated.

Did you uninstall the other drivers first.

it needs a 300w or better psu.

Taken on board guys.
PSU not a problem.

You might have hit the nail on the head,no I did not uninstall the other drivers,
so my next move would be?uninstall both, then reinstall 9800.

I would use Revo Un-installer found here: click here to un-install both sets of drivers.

This program is better at removing programs than the original un-installer when using moderate or advanced settings, it removes registry entries which sometimes aren't removed and can cause problems when installing later drivers. You might also want to turn off any anti virus software while you do the driver installation, I don't know if ATI recommend this but nVidea do.

Thats my uninstaller of choice.
An excellent program.
Must sort out the problem or a clout round the ear is comming.
