I Don't Believe it "It works"

Finally got a router that works.

Linksys. A doddle to set up, inexpensive and it works.

Suffice to say after previous attempts with a Mercury and a Belkin. ( The Belkin was a joke )

Highly recommended. Anyone looking to set Broadband Internet sharing in the home this piece of kit is a peach

Thank you Mr SEASHANTY

Can you spell Gios?

  Gios 18:58 03 Oct 03

It is excellent news thank you.

I spent over an hour on to the Belkin helpline.
Unpluging, repluging, rebooting. resetting, configuring, reconfiguring.
Changed settings I didn't even know existed.

And where did I get ? Nowhere.

Linksys for ever, don't even consider anything else. If you need a router just by this.

I got a wireless card and wireless access point for my laptop....

Plugged it in and that was pretty much it, i have heard horror stories about setting up wireless network....

You guessed...Linksys gear.

In a perverted way i was a bit dissapointed, not much 'fun' just pluggin in things and then they work, ah well, think i'll have a go at recompiling a linux kernal or something!!!!!!

Steady on a bit. Absolutely no reason to address another forum user in that manner!
