I can't delete MSN Messenger

  Andybear 20:44 09 Jun 03

I want to delete MSN Messenger and even though it's located in the Programmes file it isn't listed in the 'Add/Remove Programmes' section of the Control Panel. Also it doesn't have it's own uninstall feature. Please can someone help. Thanks.

Also I'm getting the Messenger equivalent of Spam - getting 'Messenger Service' messages popping up, with the same sort of stuff as email spam. Is there any way of stopping them. Thanks.

there should be an icon at the side of the add/remove programs section that allows you to add or remove windows components. go into this and untick windows messenger.
