Can you access the secure and non-secure sites with Internet Explorer?

I use AOL spyware, and I recently had this problem but it was my zone alarm firewall that wasn't letting me view secure sites. I just had to keep disabling it, and enabling my windows firewall when I wanted to do online banking etc.

If you add Allowed websites to IE's Security and/or Privacy tabs you should be able to access them.

I cannot view them on Internet explorer. I have tried putting them on the allowed sites and that does not help.

check internet connection settings in case your MTU is wrong. Should be 1400 for AOL. If it's set to 1458 then you'll get the effect you descrbe.
