I cannot disable content advisor

We enabled content advisor on windows 98 2nd Ed to prevent our eldest son looking at porn sites no we cannot disable it and get a message box saying some of the details are missing. to get on to the internet we have to change the sttings to gratuatous everything and the refresh our home page, does any one know what the problem is and how to fix. please help

_when i click the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder all i get is a fullogging file with no in the data part and a defualt file so can get any further
