i-buddie caddie

Some while ago I posted that I had a prob getting this to work with XP-Home, worked fine with Win ME.
Have finaly got the little bugger to be recognised. For anyone with one and still having a prob here is the way I got it to work.

First off, the instructions say to:-
Connect to mains and then plug into the usb socket and finally switch on. This is fine with WinME/98, XP doesn not like this one iota and will not recognise the drive.

With XP, you need to have the caddie up and running before conecting via the usb socket and then it will be seen via windows explorer. No icon is seen in the sys tray unlike with ME/98.

Hope this is usefull for anyone having this problem.
