hyperlinks have stopped working in Outlook 2003

  kinger 19:16 03 Feb 05

Everything was fine with Outlook 2002 but, since upgrading to Outlook 2003 I get a message each time I click on a link in an email.

"This operation has been cancelled due to restriction in effect on this computer, please contact your system administrator"

I've checked the help files but it doesn't mention about how to switch this feature back on.

Can anyone help please as all this cutting and pasting to my browser is getting a little wearing.

btw, I've already checked the security settings and all seems correct.

Thanks K!

Go to regedit and navigate to the below.

[HKEY CURRENT USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security]

Do you see in the right pane "Level1Remove" = "url;asp"?

No, that entry is not shown

Sorry for the delay.

Should it be in there?
